I understand God as personal, relational, and deeply attentive. God’s power is not coercive but persuasive. Divine omnipotence is expressed through self-restraint rather than domination. God invites, summons, and convicts but does not override human freedom.
God’s loving restraint is central to my theology: God could intervene more forcefully in the world but chooses not to negate human agency. Divine love therefore appears less as control and more as faithful accompaniment.

Genesis is not simply a past event but an ongoing creative process in which we are co-creators. The world is real and good, but also incomplete and marked by misalignment with God.
Unfinished creation therefore means that brokenness exists, injustice emerges, and human freedom carries real consequences.
God does not design evil, but God permits a world where freedom and moral growth are possible.
